On 21–22 November 2025, the Kyrgyz-German Institute of Applied Informatics (INAI) once again became the center of the city’s tech scene as it hosted its Annual Autumn Inter-University Hackathon for 3rd–4th year students. Interest in the event continues to surge: this year, 15 high-performing teams from Bishkek’s leading universities competed for the top spots.

For more than 15 intense hours, teams of three raced against time, developing solutions to real-life challenges. The judging criteria were clear and demanding - technical excellence and speed of implementation.

This year’s tasks were provided by the event’s general partner, “Eldik” Bank JSC, challenging students to design concepts and prototypes for a new digital banking product.

The winners were:

1st place - CodeCraftersTeam (IUIT)

2nd place - Equus (INAI)

3rd place - ITeam (KRSU)

4th place - Usta Soft (IUIT)

5th place - OurEra Soft (IUIT)

6th place - Derzay (KSTU)

The winning teams received cash prizes from “Eldik” Bank JSC. All participants were awarded certificates and gained the opportunity to apply for internships at the bank. Beyond the competition, the Hackathon became a vibrant space for networking with industry specialists, exchanging ideas, and gaining practical skills that reflect the realities of the tech sector.

Looking ahead, INAI is preparing to host the Annual Spring Inter-University Hackathon for 1st–2nd year students later this academic year. Details on dates, location, and the theme will be published on the official website: https://inai.kg/
