Webinar on alumni outreach from Markus Haubold of the University of Applied Sciences' Centre for Career and Alumni Outreach
Active interaction with alumni, organization of associations has long been a common practice at many universities abroad, as well as at ours in Kyrgyzstan. The experience of foreign universities shows that the image of an institution directly depends on alumni feedback. And for graduates, associations are a way to organise and use their professional and social connections, find the right people and develop contacts. Successful alumni, in turn, contribute to the reputation of the institution. An alumni association can help students in their future employment.
The usefulness and necessity of alumni networking, building a relationship with the institution, database, fundraising, events and projects, practical tips for building a successful alumni network using the example of University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, Germany.
